Cat Dress

Technique: Sewing machine with vintage 60s pattern
Year: 2025
just finished sewing a dress from a vintage 60s pattern. i had to adjust the straps area to be larger to fit better.
it's made with an all-over cat print fabric from joanns. the dress has darts on the chest for shaping, two pockets, a slight a-line shape, and a button closure on the straps.
it was also my first time doing facing! it took some figuring out since i haven’t used my sewing machine in a while. it was very fun to get back into sewing and finish something wearable.
